My name is Cary L. Geihs, and I’ve called the Central Coast home since 1967. As the founder of Amandus Standard Schnauzers, my deep involvement in the show and performance circuit underscores the rigorous standards I uphold in my breeding program. I’m devoted to producing Standard Schnauzers that excel in health, temperament, conformation, and performance, with pedigrees that celebrate the breed’s heritage while ensuring its preservation.

My puppies are my top priority, and my passion for Standard Schnauzers drives me to share that enthusiasm with others. At Amandus Standard Schnauzers, my breeding pair—the dam and sire—boast multiple titles and Dog of the Year awards in both conformation and performance, a testament to their exceptional quality.
